New Winery in 2009 - see latest!
15th May 2008
Plans are afoot to build a winery at Hush Heath to cope with the increasing production and to bring the complete winemaking process onto the estate. The winery will be purpose-built and will incorporate all the equipment needed to produce high-quality sparkling wine.
There will be a 4 tonne Coquard grape press - recognised world-wide as the press for great sparkling wines - temperature controlled settling and storage tanks, a 4-cage gyro-pallet riddling system, a disgorging line and labelling and packing line. The winery will be able to cope with an annual 'crush' of around 120 tonnes of grapes.
