Taste
A delicate and palest of pinks the 2010 Nannette’s is again dominated by the red varietals Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the finessing Chardonnay making up just 25% of the blend. Unoaked, pure and refreshing, as only good English wine can be, light hearted but not frivolous, a wine that cries out for sun and fun. (God willing). Dry and crisp, hints of strawberry and hay on the nose, on the palate it is firm and well structured. The finish is lingering, vinous and evocative.
An excellent and versatile wine with food, interesting enough to drink on its own, or as an apéritif, preferably lightly chilled.
