A heady mix of Cox Orange Pippin, Bramley Seedling and Egremont Russet, Hush Heath Apple Juice only makes use of the finest classic English apples grown exclusively on Hush Heath Estate.
It was in the heart of nature that the first orchards were planted nestled amongst rolling fields, vineyards and ancient Oak Woodlands. The Estate combines traditional growing techniques with the best of modern research to create a naturally balanced habitat - the perfect environment for growing the highest quality apples.

Our apples are grown naturally which explains why Hush Heath Apple Juice tastes simply natural. Hedges grown around the orchard provide a natural wind break and Crab Apple trees interspersed amongst the trees attract natural pollinators like bees. We also allow wild flowers to grow around the orchards to encourage natural predators to protect the orchards from pests (well, nature can’t be blamed for having good taste). Pruned and trained to grow in a four bough pyramid shape to allow maximum sunlight penetration, Hush Heath apples are born under the open skies.
Sun ripened and perfectly picked
By August, just four months after the first blossom, the branches are bristling with apples. We carefully monitor each tree to ensure branches are not over-laden as the apples ripen and approach maturity. As harvest time approaches, a careful note of the apples’ sugar, acidity and carbohydrate levels is taken to ensure they grow to the optimum condition. Once perfectly formed and sun-ripened, the apples are individually handpicked and within just a few hours they’re ready to be simply pressed and transformed into Hush Heath Apple Juice.

This is how we capture the unique flavour of autumn, year after year.
An expert eye
The development of Hush Heath juice has been helped by the participation of our consultant expert Dr. David Pennell, who has worked in the research and advisory service for the fruit industry for over 30 years. For most of that time he has been based in Kent.
